Fitness Experience:
- Tamara discovered
Hatha Yoga in 2000 in a prenatal yoga class. She fell in love
and continues to practice regularly. Her interests include Hatha Yoga, Hatha Flow Yoga, Power Flow Yoga and Pilates.
- Tamara became certified to teach Hatha Flow Yoga in 2006.
Her yoga teaching experience includes:
- Summer 2008, created and teaches a monthly "Family Yoga" class for 4 - 8 year olds and their parents at Yoga Source.
- Summer 2008, started teaching adult/teen Yoga at Bujinkan Martial Arts in Margate.
- Winter 2008, started teaching adult/teen Yoga at the Yoga Source in Coral Springs
- Fall 2007, started teaching Kid Yoga to 5, 6 and 7-year-olds in a Broward County School
- Summer 2007 - Spring 2008, taught adult/teen yoga at U4RIA Dance Studio in Coral Springs
- Winter & Spring 2007, taught 18 weeks (two sessions) of Kid Yoga for Preschoolers at the JCC in Coral Springs
- 2007, started teaching private yoga lessons
- 2007, started substitute teaching at the Yoga Source in Coral Springs and the Parkland Golf and Country Club in Parkland
- Fall 2006, began teaching adult/teen yoga at the JCC in Coral Springs and at North Community Park in Coral Springs
- Fall 2006, donated practice yoga classes to teenage girls in foster care and to children and teachers at the JCC in Coral Springs
From 2001 - 2006,
Tamara attended aerobics, sculpting and Pilates classes with her children. She soon became a substitute instructor. She also helped produce and co-starred in the "Mom & Tot
Workout" video which is available
online and in stores nationwide.
